The Richmond Kickers appear to have distilled the game of soccer to a single fundamental truth: You can’t lose if the other guys don’t score.

The Kickers, the last undefeated team in USL PRO, have preserved the zero in their won-lost record by hanging zeroes on the scoreboard. In their past five games, all on the road, the Kickers have produced three shutouts while allowing only three goals. They are USL PRO’s runaway leader in fewest goals allowed (0.7 per match).
