The eight teams competing in the Central Region football playoffs will have a couple more days to wait before deciding which ones reach the finals.
The forecast of rain, possibly heavy about kickoff time, led to the postponement of the four games.
Hermitage was scheduled to play at Varina and Meadowbrook at L.C. Bird in Division 6. Douglas Freeman was traveling to Dinwiddie, and Monacan was on the road at Hanover in Division 5.
The games will be played Monday at 7 p.m. The region championship games scheduled for Friday have been moved to next Saturday. Game time for the two finals have not been determined. -- Arthur Utley
