Beyonce, Bono, Springsteen among acts at Obama celebration

Beyonce, Bono, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder are among the musical acts that will perform during "We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial."
HBO will televise the event from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18.
Also scheduled to perform: Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Renee Fleming, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp, Usher Raymond IV, Shakira, , James Taylor, and will.i.am.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee says the event will be free and open to the public.
Among those reading historical passages will be Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington.

The comment from 1twenty13 is absolutely ridiculous. This administration is already the most inclusive that we have ever seen. Not only from a racial standpoint but a idealogical standpoint as well. Stop the baseless accusations for the sake of stirring up arguments.

What? No white folks reading “historical passages”? Seems kinda racially devisive to me. So much for trying to unify people and ignore race. Oh well maybe it will happen in another 230 years.

Are these folks donating their performances? Is HBO paying them or the Inaugral Committee? I certainly hope they aren’t getting a bailout to help with expenses…......
