Onlookers at Capitol Square inched their way toward a film scene for the National Geographic TV movie “Killing Kennedy” on Friday as a member of the crew twice screamed “bang.”

Rob Lowe, playing President John F. Kennedy, jerked his head on cue, and actress Ginnifer Goodwin crawled out the back of a 1963 Lincoln Continental convertible limousine, just as first lady Jacqueline Kennedy had when JFK was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, in November 1963.
