Matoaca woman, 71, pleads guilty to killing husband, disabled son
Estelle V. Jones was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two of using a firearm in a felony in the shooting deaths of her husband, Joseph Edward Jones, 70, and their son, Perry Edward Jones, 51, Chesterfield police said 4-19.

A 71-year-old Matoaca woman who felt maligned by her husband pleaded guilty Tuesday to fatally shooting him six times and then strangling their disabled adult son, who she believed couldn’t survive without her.
Estelle Virginia Jones pleaded guilty in Chesterfield County Circuit Court to one count of second-degree murder and one count of first-degree murder in the April 18 and 19 killings of Joseph E. Jones, 71, and their son, Perry Jones, 51.
