West Point firefighters are finishing up with a fire that engulfed stacks of recycled paper at the RockTenn Co. paper mill in King William County.

Andrew Smith, chief of the West Point Volunteer Fire Department, said a call came in a little after 3 p.m. this afternoon that a couple of 12-foot stacks of paper were on fire. Fire fighters were able to put out the blaze in about two hours and are currently cleaning up.
