Police said that about 11:20 p.m. a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 5100 block of Cary Street Road left the roadway to the right and struck several trees. The vehicle spun and then came to rest in the middle of the road, police said.

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
