Petersburg police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured this afternoon.

Suspects fired shots from a car in the 300 block of Mistletoe Street, police spokeswoman Esther Hyatt said.

The individual was taken to VCU Medical Center, she said. The incident occurred just a few blocks from the scene of a deadly shooting early Saturday morning.
