Fire destroyed a two-story frame house in the 4800 block of Woolridge Road in Chesterfield County early this morning.

Lt. Frank Blankenship of Chesterfield Fire and EMS said the call came in at four minutes after midnight. "Flames were pretty much through the roof when firefighters got there," he said. "It was pretty well burnt up."

Blankenship said the house, north of Woolridge Elementary School near the Swift Creek Reservoir causeway, appeared to have been unoccupied for some time.
