Two Richmond women were arrested today in connection with the March 27 fatal shooting of VCU student Tyler J. Binsted in Byrd Park.

Richmond police identified the two women as Zsabriela Evelyn Williams, 19, of the 5200 block of Wingfield Street and LaPrecious Nicole Austin, 19, of the 2700 block of Nine Mile Road.

Williams is charged with conspiracy to commit murder; Austin is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

"The investigation established three suspects were involved," said Capt. John Venuti, head of the Richmond Police Department's major crimes unit. "All three are now in custody."

Later the day that Binsted was killed, Howard Reed Scott III of Silver Avenue in South Richmond was charged with murder and two counts each of robbery and the use of a firearm in a felony.

Police had initially said they were looking for a second suspect, a boy 13 to 15 years old and between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall. Police said they believed he frequented the Bellemeade area off Jefferson Davis Highway and possibly used the nickname "Pete."
