A warehouse in Richmond was evacuated today after authorities discovered a natural gas leak.
No injuries were reported as a result of the leak, which was discovered just before 9:15 a.m. at the UCI Warehouse Corp., a vehicle engines and parts business operating out of a one-story building in the 1700 block of Rhoadmiller Street, just south of The Diamond.
Employees at the building were evacuated and the structure's gas supply was cut off within minutes of the arrival of firefighters.
The problem seemed to originate in the building's furnace, authorities said.
