Why: What started as a bake sale for the church has turned into a full-fledged outdoor food festival with food vendors dishing up Armenian delicacies, dancing, music, festivities and more.
Festival-goers can try a variety of goodies, such as the familiar-sounding shish kebabs, rice pilaf and string beans to the more adventurous offerings such as lahmajoun (an open-faced Armenian meat pie), bouregs (cheese- or spinach-filled layers of phyllo dough) and simit (sweet Armenian bread).
How much: Free admission
