The Air Force Association has just named Tim Couillard, teacher of Physics and Ethics and Critical Thinking in Leadership at James River High School in Midlothian, Va., the third-place winner of the Air Force Association National Teacher of the Year contest.

He will receive a $1,000 prize, announced Jim Barker, president of the General Leigh Wade Chapter of the Air Force Association.
