Senior student Merritt Grace Tuttle of Richmond, Va., recently graduated from Salem Academy in Winston-Salem, N.C.

She is the daughter of Jerry Tuttle.

Founded in 1772, Salem is the nation's oldest continually operating institution for women. Salem Academy, an independent college-preparatory day and boarding school, educates girls in grades nine through 12.
