ALS support group

A Lou Gehrig's disease Resource Support Group will meet Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mastin Room, Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Ave.

Brain-tumor group

An energy medicine specialist will address the Richmond Brain Tumor Support Group on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Education Center of St. Mary's Hospital, 5801 Bremo Road.

NAMI program

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Central Virginia is sponsoring a Family-to-Family program Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Chamberlayne Heights United Methodist Church, 6100 Chamberlayne Ave.

The program is a series of 12 weekly classes to help family members understand and support relatives with mental illness.

There is no charge to participate.

Energy healing

An Energy Healing clinic is offered the first and third Wednesdays at Massey Cancer Center at Stony Point, 9000 Stony Point Parkway.

Energy Healing is a complementary therapy that can promote relaxation and pain management through many chronic and acute conditions, including cancer.

The clinic is free for up to three sessions of one hour each.
